Position Overview:
- Verify drayage shipping orders and booking confirmation via Transport Management System (TMS) and Emails from shipper and CAT international Control Tower.
- Tender manifest in TMS and send the full drayage documents to correct carrier via mail.
- Generate billing report and check the freight cost with carriers.
Key Outcomes:
- Ensure timely and accurate verification and arrangement of drayage orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate send billing report.
- Ensure timely handling daily exceptions.
Position Accountabilities:
- Timely and accurate verification of drayage orders. Focus on documents collection, documents verification.
- Ensure timely to maintain HBL number to TMS based on forwarder providing.
- Timely and accurate do load tender, ensure the carrier and transportation mode selection correct.
- Daily shipment follow-up with suppliers and carriers.
- Daily prepare billing report and verify with carriers, and then timely send to forwarder.
- Timely resolve operational issues and provide reporting accordingly.
- Maintain issue log: keep closely communication with suppliers and carriers, record the issues if have. Including pickup delay, delivery delay, damage, lost, modification and so on.
- Ensure 100% data integrity and proper management of information.
- New Suppliers or carriers on board support: TMS training, operation process training.
- Perform any special duties or projects assigned by Management.
Relevant Education Background, Hard Skill, Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics Management/ SCM/ Transport Management.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Importing or exporting operation.
- Knowledge of customs clearance processes is a plus.
- Good communication skill in both English and Chinese, oral and written.
- Patience, focus on detail and sense of responsibility.
