This core layer will function as the foundation for the future connected mobility platform being able to support millions of vehicles and other assets.In the role of “Application Engineer”, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies to grow the platform as a real product together with us and help to drive the architecture, implementation of best practices and the design of our microservices landscape for a fully connected future.Your tasks: Support Sales and Application departmentson technical support to local OEMs. Support localization of gears products in comply with Chinese regulation. Design new products and new application with support of CAD and PLM systems, delivering technical documents as 3D models, 2D drawings, BoM, and other related documents. Cooperate with materials management department to select local suitable suppliers and realize successful components localization. Coordinate with appropriate departments in China and Germany for necessary support. Your profile: Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering. Fluent in English, German a plus but not a must. Around 2 years gear box design and development experience is preferred. Familiar with design software and gear calculation tools (Creo/ProE, AutoCad tec.).
